Hello all. For the past month I have been trying to purchase tickets (with English tour) between Sept 24-26 through the official website but it seems that only tickets through mid-Sept are available. Is this normal? Should I just wait or should I seek tickets and tour from a third party. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it’s normal. There don’t seem to be any consistent ticket selling time-frames for sites in Italy. For reference, I purchased our Borghese Gallery tickets (no tour) on 8/17/23 for our 10/26/23 visit. Enjoy the Gallery: in my opinion, it’s one of the greatest museums in Italy, if not Europe.

Thank you Reederman. I’ll just keep checking the website every day. Btw, I am a novice at art appreciation, but I was absolutely blown away by the Borghese, especially the sculptures, on two previous visits to Rome. “When in Rome…visit the Borghese!”

My wife, who is not into art at all, was blown away by the sculptures as well. So much so, that we kept going back again and again, almost going over our allotted 2 hours.
