Viewing of the Last Supper and tour of adjoining church buildings

This is probably a silly ("if you're asking, you probably already know...") question, but on the very last day of our 3 week vacation in Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy, my boyfriend and I have a tour that will include a viewing of the Last Supper in Milan. In order to plan my wardrobe choices that last week, I need to know if I must cover my knees by wearing long or capri pants (my short pants are conservative, only barely showing my knees - but ... I don't want to be refused entry because I didn't dress appropriately).

Knees and shoulders need to be covered in any Catholic Church in Italy.

Our experience in Italy's churches was that only women must have knees covered. My husband was allowed entry wearing shorts.
