Viewing Last Supper fresco/Duomo visit. Nearly impossible!

Hi all,
Have a few hours to spare upon arrival in Milan on Sept 8.I have been trying on line and calling without success to reach Viva ticket for the Last Supper entrance tickets.Although I know its unnecessary to join a tour group to got to these 2 sites .I do see here and other places that joining a tour group may may it easier to gain entrance.Besides trying to get thru to Viva ticket does anyone have a suggestions for a guide/group that will include access to the Santa Maria Grazie/Last Supper? Thank you.

Not impossible but takes planning. Or: Try a ticket broker. I use Select Italy often. No group, no guide (although these can be purchased), about 100% markup over face value.

I used have used Select Italy to obtain my The Last Supper tickets twice. You pay more but they get you your tickets.

Delia, try City Wonders: www.citywonders.com. We took their Best of Milan Last Supper tour about 2 weeks ago, and were pleased. It was a bit pricey (@ €70), but we had a nice tour of the Duomo and a lovely visit with the Last Supper. Our guide was Katerina; she did a great job at the Last Supper, especially. This particular tour was a walking tour, taking about 3 hours, but they have other choices.

We got out tickets for The Last Supper, including a walking and bus tour of Milan at:
http://www.tickitaly.com

They were pricey but we flew into Milan and left the next day for Lake Como so this was the most efficient use of our time.

I have been trying to book September Last Supper tickets too for quite sometime. They came available on vivaticket on July 24 but there are no available tickets online. Select Italy still says none available as does Ticket Italy. I finally emailed Walks of Italy for their tour because they had nothing available on line either. They just got back to me today and said there is a problem with the tickets so they are unsure if they will offer the Last Supper Tour in September but that I should check back in two to three weeks. Bottom line is I think we just have to keep trying and something will surface. Please post if you have any luck securing tickets for September!
