If you have walked the pilgrimage from Lucca to Roma (or a portion of it) I have questions:
*Where did you get the detailed map of the route?
*Was there any section of that walk that you would recommend above others?
*Any section that you would avoid? Like an area that is too close to a major highway.
*Did you find the route easy to follow?
*Did you have advance sleeping reservations?
I plan to walk this route with 2 friends in September. We walked a portion of the Camino de Santiago last year. Any first hand information you can provide would greatly be appreciate.
