We will be in Vicenza, Italy from December 26th through December 28th and were wondering if any of the Andrea Palladio buildings will be opened. And if not, do you have any recommendations for site seeing and restaurants. I did try emailing both the Vicenza tourist office and our B & B and they did not reply. Thank you so much.

I Googled "Vicenza Tourist Information" and this came up
From September to June: 9 am-5 pm, last admission 4.30 pm.
July and August: 10 am - 6 pm, last admission 5.30 pm
Closed on the 25th December and on 1st January.

The Villa Valmarana is open every day except Christmas. La Rotonda’s website does not state any closings but be careful because it is open only Friday, Saturday and Sunday with very limited hours. My travel buddy and I thought that the visit to Villa Valmarana was a highlight of the homes in the Vicenza area. Teatro Olimpico will be closed Christmas and New Years Day and is spectacular.
For a great local dining experience, have a meal at Righetti, Piazza del Duomo, 3.
