Vicenza inexpensive apartment or hotel

I've enjoyed very much staying at Bob and Jenny's B&B just outside the centre. Their webpage is at http://www.bed-breakfast-italy.com/ . Generally they prefer people to stay for several days, but perhaps this being the off-season they could be flexible.

The prices are very easy, there is a pizza place very close, and a large deSpar supermarket a minute or so further. The rooms share a kitchenette with a fridge, toaster and 4 burner range. And a washing machine.

Simple but enjoyable.

This is a great find! Love Vicenza, but usually do it as a day trip. The apartment will make it soo much easier on our group

Have you checked airbnb? I'm spending a few weeks in Italy later this year, and have used airbnb for everything (after great experiences in NYC, Hawaii, and Amsterdam). Most owners will offer a great rate for a trip that long, and you can definitely get a place will full kitchen, washer, etc. That may be a great benefit for a long trip.

Just read the reviews carefully and get a good dialogue going with the host to make sure you'll be satisfied.
