Sally, Viator is a "middleman", the tours are conducted by other firms. I took a 3-hour tour with Dark Rome Tours (www.darkrome.com), also now called City Wonders, including both The Last Supper and the Duomo (but not the roof). They still offer it, but maybe not every day. I'm sure there are other companies that do this too, and the content or length of the tours might be different. If you just google "milan tours last supper" you will find various companies to look into. And yes, you should pre-book, especially during the summer. Tickets to the Last Supper can be very hard to get, they only allow a few people in each group during the day, and I think the tour companies buy up many of the tickets.

Walks of Italy has an excellent tour including Last Supper, Duomo & extra rooftop access, famous Galleria and several other sites. Price is very reasonable. Many tours are in the morning, easy if you're in Milano but their Thursday tours are also offered at 12:30, easiest for anyone doing a day trip from another location.

I just booked most of my tours last night for my upcoming trip. There were a couple that i wanted from walks of italy and i was able to find them on viator so i opted to book through viator to get the 10% discount that ends today..

Regretfully, the Walks of Italy tour was not available on the day we had for Milan. We have used them with great success in other cities. We were unable to get individual tickets and booked a walking tour through Tickitaly. There were no headphones, the group was large (24 people, whereas Walks of Italy groups are no bigger then 12-14) and many people didn't care about the rest of the tour besides the Last Supper which was at the end, so chatted away making it even more difficult to hear the guide. We were happy to see the Last Supper, but the rest of the tour was not satisfying. The Walks of Italy guides are knowledgeable and very interesting.

But definitely pre-book or get tickets ahead of time quickly as they fill up fast.

Hi Sally! We Had considered a Dark Rome tour when we go to Milan. Have you looked at what they offer? I had read some posts about Viator on TripAdvisor that made me unsure about booking with them. I did try to get the Last Supper tickets through the official website and even tried calling a few times, but I gave up and booked with Zani Viaggi. Rick Steve's recommend Zani Viaggi for another tour, but we saw that Zani Viaggi offered a Milan tour and went with them.

If you go on Viator, you can usually copy and paste the tour synopsis and put that into google and figure out which tour company it is...I feel better usually looking up the specific company and dealing with them directly.....
