ViaMilano Services!

Wow, i just found out about Via Milano. Has anyone heard of this amazing service? It almost sounds too good to be true. We will be flying from JFK to MXP then connecting to CDG (via easy jet). I was a little worried about the connecting flight so i opted for the 4 hour layover instead of the 2 hour.

Can someone tell me if I have this correct? We arrive in MXP, customs, baggage, then we drop off our baggage with them, get a shopping pass, vip lounge access, wifi, and transfer to connecting terminal all for free?

If we only have carryons would this be smart to send it over to terminal 2 via easy jet if we don't plan on checking our bags in?

Also if our First flight gets delayed or canceled they will rebook a ticket for us because of the travel insurance that they include?

This all sounds way to good to be true. Free? Sorry we're from NYC and nothing is free here.

Thanks!

Never heard of them, looking at their website now. Looks like you have it all correct above. Just note this about luggage and check in - ViaMilano service cannot be offered for certain flights due to security reasons or operational constraints. For more information please refer directly to the ViaMilano Transit desk or write us at [email protected] - so make sure they can check it into your next flight for you, or else you'd have to go back to the area and grab it.

Also what is the cost of the service? I don't see any charges on the website. It sounds like all stuff you can do on your own. They have WIFI at MXP for a cost, and there is also luggage storage at terminal 1 (downstairs I believe) for a small fee too. If the cost to do it on your own is cheaper, I would do that.

Hey Robert

This service is completely free! I'm not so worried about the luggage we can just roll it with us. But free flight insurance, free wifi for a quick check of email, 10euro to shop in any duty-free shop (when you spend 40). And not free but discounted access to vip airport lounges.

This must be a government sponsored program to have more people connect in Milan and spend money in the shops before they connect to the final destination.

Sounds amazing!
