Has anyone ever stayed at Via Palchetti apartments or know of this area in Florence-- it is near Piazza Ruccellai and not far from the train station. There's a popular restaurant called Il Latino there too. Thought this area would be convenient for the historic center as well as day trips due to proximity to the train station but I'd really love to know if anyone actually has stayed in this area before I commit. Your help is very much appreciated!

It's Il Latini.
I've never lived on the street per se, but I grew up in Florence and know the area (and the street) well enough. It's near via Della Vigna Nuova and via Del Parione, just past via Tornabuoni. Just step away from Gucci or Ferragamo headquarters. Via Tornabuoni is Florence's equivalent of 5th ave in NY or via Condotti in Rome or via Monte Napoleone in Milan. Not sure what you need to know. Any place in the historical center is fine. You are 5 or 10 min walk from everything.

Thank you Roberto. That is helpful. I should have been more specific. I was wondering if anyone has ever stayed in via Palchetti 3 apartments. I have seen listings for them on various accommodation websites as well as apartment rental companies in Florence but have not found a single review. It seems that they are professionally managed. I always like to read the reviews - so just a little curious why I can't fine one. Thank you!
