I am planning a trip to Italy for my grad school son and myself in late May. I would love to take a Vespa (or other scooter) tour for 1-3 days in Tuscany. I'd prefer a tour group or local to guide us. The one scooter tour I found has no real "reviews". To be safe, I will be taking a motorcycle riding refresher class locally. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Not a scooter at all, another drive-yourself tour option is www.500touringclub.com, during with you drive classic 1960s and 70s Fiat cars.
Thank you Laura - it was fun checking out the Fiat site. It IS another option! I did locate some day trip scooter tours that get great reviews on Tripadvisor....
This is my first time on this travel forum and I've already used it to sketch out an itinerary for my trip. It's been very helpful even if I didn't get any scooter details. Thanks again for responding.
When I was in Montepulicano this past august I did a day with this company and a Dario came with us for the day on the trip. Showed us some great picture spots. I would use him again. You can check if they have a multi day option, i'm not sure.

Have you looked at this one? They will drive you if you'r not comfortable on a scooter.
Thank you for the replies - I had not come across either of the above 2 sites yet. I definitely want to ride and will book a little closer to travel time at one of the day trips that operate. I might even book 2 different day trips. It is certainly less expensive than a 3-day tour but will still be one of the things I splurge on. Both sites are spot on. Thank you Robert and gerri.
