are there vespa/scooter rental places in Siena, Italy? any suggestions?
If you are not experienced riders, Italy is not the place to learn. If you have a background in cycling, your learning curve would be a little shorter. Rent one at home for few days and get use to being the slowest thing on the road.
The first question, are you an experienced rider? Second, go to RoninRome for an articles on riding a scooter in Italy. Third you will need a IDP with a motorcycle endorsement.
thank you for your response. no, we are not experienced riders, and we do not have motorcycle license. so it looks like we will not be able to ride. we were hoping that the vespas/scooters could be rented like atvs in hawaii.
Darn!! I was with you Steve............wanting to rent one. Thanks for asking the question, I never thought that we wouldn't be able to. :(
