we are staying in Florence for 3 nights and I have made reservations for the food and wine tour at the Verrazzano winery in the Chianti region..does anyone know the best way to get from our B&B Soggiorno Casa di Barbano to the winery?? Has anyone been there??

Hi Nicole,
I actually stayed at B&B Casa di Barbano and also did the Verrazzano Winery tour.
I don't remember the exact roads. But Moraq (B&B Owner) will give you directions to the bus station and will also give you a map. The bus station is located near the train station.
Once you're at the bus station just buy a ticket to Greve (and ask for a return schedule as well). Once you board the bus just tell the driver that you're going to Castello di Verrazzano and are getting of in Greti. They will make sure you get off at the right stop. There is also a huge sign pointing to the winery.
Have a wonderful time! Castello di Verrazzano was the highlight of our trip! :-)
