Verona - Venice transportation after the opera

Are there tourist busses or other ways to return from Verona to Venice after attending the opera?

not that I could find in 2010. The opera doesn't end until nearly 1:00 a.m. No trains run after that time, and I could not find any buses. You can get package bus tours from Venice if you don't have your tickets yet and are willing to pay up. I wasn't. We booked a gorgeous B&B just a block from the arena. It was wonderful to just toddle back there, watching all the glamourous Italians stroll down the pedestrian zone. Then we wandered around Verona the next day before heading back, and decided we should have planned a longer stay - it's a beautiful city. Don't miss the opera experience - it was fantastic. Also, I googled and found your question on a large number of other travel forums - with the same answer. I'm pretty sure you won't find anything, but if you do, please post back here as I'm sure others would be interested.

I agree with Nelly about Verona. Try to do an overnight there. It's one of our new favorite places in Italy. We spent three nights there last year and are going back next year. Here are some photos of our time in Verona in May 2011, in case you're interested.
