Any advice on where to park for Verona arena?
Parking - and even driving - in the old part of Verona is a nightmare and to be avoided. I would definitely have a plan to drive and park in the new, modern city and then use public transportation to get into the largely traffic free center.
The old city center Verona itself is lovely but is based on the old Roman town was never intended for cars so treat it kind of like an Italian hilltown and plan your approach. Not surprisingly bus transport is centered on the central train station Porta Nuova so parking near there should allow you to get a bus for a stop or two and get easily into Piazza Bra which contains the Roman Arena.
Google maps transportation tab works pretty well for bus scheduling and bus stops in Verona are very well marked and easily identified. Tickets can be purchased on the bus for an additional cost - it was 2e last year versus 1.3e or so ahead of time as I recall. Walking downtown is a pleasure so just look to get decently near the old town core and get off and wander towards Piazza Bara.

Have a great time, I think Verona is under appreciated,

I always parked in the underground parking below. Less than 5 min walk to the Arena and it’s outside the ZTL.
