Flying into Venice on Sunday April 28th. Visiting both Venice and Verona before going to Florence. Is there any reason we should start the trip in Verona, then go to Venice?
Thanks,

I would do Verona on a day trip from Venice:

It depends on when your flight arrives. You might not want to take the train the day you arrive in Venice after a long flight.
There is a great high speed train from Venice to Florence and then down to Rome.
We stayed in Verona and visited Venice as a daytrip (2014). Verona is a fabulous city and worth plenty of time to explore.
It is an easy train trip between the two cities.
no reason to start in Verona you can go there after you leave Venice
I also concur. Logistically start in Venice>>Verona>>Florence.
If you are flying into Venice, then start there. Venice - Verona - Florence. This avoids backtracking, unless of course, you are also flying out of Venice. If that is the case then it is up to you to decide whether to start or finish there. I agree with Mo'pak that Verona is a fabulous city. I liked it very much and there was lots to see and do. We stayed there three nights and also did a daytrip by public bus up to beautiful Sirmione on Lake Garda. Be prepared for crowds of tourists in all three of your chosen cities. We were there in April of last year and it was very crowded, particularly Florence.
