We are going to the last night at the opera in the Arena and are looking for recommendations for for dinner reservations after the opera.
I'm envious Bob! It would be a wonderful experience to go to the opera in Verona!! One restaurant we liked is in Rick's book--it's Enoteca Can Grande--we didn't have dinner here but had good wine and antipasti. The telephone number as listed in Rick's Italy book is 045-595-022. You can "Google" the restaurant name to see reviews to determine if it's the type of restaurant you're looking for.

Have a great time!
My friend, a native Veronese, likes Osteria al Duca, which is in R.S. Italy book. We weren't able to make it there, unfortunately, because my friend had to work late the night we were supposed to go. :( But he likes it, and apparently so does Rick!
What a great experience to see an opera in a 2,000 year old structure! It is so beautiful anyway; to be in it during an opera would be out of this world! Have fun!!
