We plan to spend two nights in Verona after Christmas. We are looking at the following places - anyone have any input here as to the best location and decent stay? They are within our budget for 3 people. Hotel Verona Santo Stefano B&B (by the river could be a little bit out of the way) Albora B&B Piccolo

We stayed at the Hotel Bologna in 2011. It is in a great location, practically in Piazza Bra and just next to the Arena. Not sure how the price would compare to the hotels you mentioned but we found it reasonably priced. Room was on the small side, but was very clean and comfortable. Good buffet breakfast is included. Verona ia a beautiful city. You will enjoy it!

Hotel Verona is convenient as it is a short walk from the train station. But it is outside the city walls and lacking in charm. Mthe walk back and forth into the city takes you along a busy street. Did you consider B&B La Finesta Sull' Arena? Location is just off Piazza VBra, on the pedestrian street, and Mossimo is a gracious host.

Lola, your suggestion was booked! We have decided to book the Albora B&B as we will each get our own bed and that will be awesome. Thanks for the suggstions!
