I have one night available in my itinerary in Northern Italy. I can either visit Verona or Bolzano (which are not currently in my itinerary) or I can add an extra night to my stay in Ortisei. I am not sure what to do. I am hoping some experienced travelers on this forum may be able to offer some suggestions Thank you in advance. AP

If you want to explore more of the Dolomites, consider staying an extra night in Ortisei. While I’m not sure how many nights you’re already planning, keep in mind that mountain weather is fickle. If you're only staying for a couple of days, you may not luck out with the weather to fully enjoy the mountains. Extending your stay can help mitigate this. If you encounter poor weather, you can always drive or catch a bus to Bolzano for the day and explore the city, which is about 45 minutes away from Ortisei.

My apologies, I currently have scheduled 2 nights in Ortisei. I do not have any nights currently booked in either Bolzano or Verona.
