Verona and Venice Next Week

It is finally time!
I will be in Italy for the first time next week.
Verona 25th-28th
Venice 29th-1st
Is anyone else going to be in the area at the same time?
I have a few day trips planned (Vicenza, Lake Garda, Padova) but I am looking for any last minute suggestions on things I should do that are maybe specific to this time of year or ideas that are not the normal touristy thing to do.
I know I will get called out for being a bit vague in what I am looking for but my goal is to get any and all unique suggestions.
So far my only plan set in stone is the cicchetti tour with Alessandro at 6pm on the 29th.
Anyone else on that tour?
I'm staying in the city center in both cities and will be using public transportation and trains to commute.
Thank you for your suggestions!

If visiting Vicenza and you want to visit La Rotonda and Villa Valmarana, check their websites because they are only open certain days and hours. Plan your trip accordingly. I would suggest a taxi from the station to the villas and the villas to Teatro Olimpico to save a lot of time. For a great local dining experience, try Righetti on the Piazza Del Duomo.

@dczesak that is awesome! I am from the other side of the state. Are you and your husband doing the cicchetti tour with Alessandro?

@Philip thank you for the suggestions! I looked up Righetti and they are closed on the weekends? I wish I could have worked at a place like that back in my kitchen days.

Verona is beautiful, the arena in the center is older than the Colosseum in Rome, and its in constant use for the opera and rock shows as well, do hire a local private guide for a walking tour of the old city, it will really worth it, they will explain things you would never have imagined. there are lovely restaurants with little balconies overhanging the river with 3 or four tables on them, do make a reservation at one.
