Also, what time of year are you planning to travel there? Finding rooms in "Opera season" is more challenging.

Do you need all double rooma, or some larger ones like quads? I did a quick check and there must be something going on (although I think opera opening night is June 22 or 23) as rooms are getting booked up rapidly. Hotel Verona is a nice place with quad rooms if you need those. It is on the main street between the rail station and the city gate, but outside the walls. This might do but it is better to be INSIDE the walls. Hotel Giuliette e Romeo is a lovely place that is very well-located, on a street rightoff Piazza Bra and close to the arena. We stayed in a B&B across the street so I know the location, and it is excellent. But at this point if may be difficult to find one place that will take all of you, unless you are outside the city, which is less desireable. I would start with the Verona page on Tripadvisor, using the map that shows all the locations. Start near the center, and work outward. The booking sites like Venere.com will show who has availability and prices, When you find one that looks like a possibility, email them and see what they can do for a group of 20.

What kind of accomodations do you need? We stayed at the Villa Francesscotti hostel. It was okay, hard to recommend because of low water pressure in the showers. On the plus side, it was walking distance to the center, offered free parking for our car, had a really nice staff and some decent gardens within the walls of the, aging, villa. It can accomodate 12, but probably in dorm rooms (guys in one, girls in another). They have a family room but I don't think it's big enough for 12.
