I am staying a few days in Vernazza in September. From there I will be traveling to Bellagio. From my research I see the train will go to Milan from there go to Como or Varenna-Esino then ferry to Bellagio. My question is where should I depart Cinque Terra from? Should I take the train from Vernazza to La Spezia or take it to Sestri Levanti? or is there another town in Cinque Terre area that you would suggest for me? Thank you!

If you stay in Vernazza you will depart from Vernazza. From there to Milan you will go in the direction of Genoa. If you stay in Monterosso instead of Vernazza, you might save yourself a train change, since from Monterosso there are trains to Milan that require no change. From Monterosso you can visit any Cinque Terre towns by train.
