In Rick Steve's "Italy's Countryside" DVD, he has a section in which he covers the Cinque Terre, and in Vernazza he ends by going into his lodging overlooking the piazza with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. We need that apartment! Does anybody know what apartment that is?

You could try contacting Hotel Gianni Franzi, where Rick has taken his tour groups in the past, and ask if they have apartment rentals. We went there once with a group and our reservations were messed up. One party ended up with a FANTASTIC apartment with a terrace hanging over the sea, not the piazza. Also, ask if they can refer you to any apartments.

Hi Kim, I just watched that episode, and I believe the door Rick walks in has a sign for Memo Rooms on it. However, I've looked at Memo Rooms, and my understanding is they're all separate, en suite rooms, each with its own bathroom, so it might not be exactly what you're looking for... Hope that helps solve the mystery! Emma
