I am attending an opera in Busseto and wonder if there are taxis available after the performance. I have a hotel that is 5 km away - too long a walk at 2300. Any suggestions or experience to share? It appears that public transportation ends in the early evening.

Have you asked the hotel? They would be the ones most likely to know, I would think.

Not yet. But I found someone who has attended the festival in the past and he may be able to offer advice. I am also going to check daily to see if a room might open up at one of the Busseto hotels near the theater.
