Venice with students

HI
We are traveling with students on Tuesday to Venice and other parts of Europe. I visited years ago in the summer. However, when it says 65 degrees F are we talking like NY with humidity and it could be shorts and t-shirt weather or are we talking Colorado and no humidity? Also, we are staying on Lido at the Villa Mabapa hotel. Is there somewhere safe to walk in the morning before breakfast?
Thank you for your help!

Is there somewhere safe to walk in the morning before breakfast?

Yes, the entire island of Lido.

As far has how you dress, however you like. Some people are comfortable walking around in shorts and t-shirts in cool weather and an ocean breeze, but I wouldn't. And 65 deg F is the high temperature of the day, not the 45 deg F you might find in the morning before breakfast.

Since Venice, like New York City, is surrounded by water, humidity is always there. Colorado is hundreds of miles from oceans, hence the dryness.

And if you find New York humid, you should know that as a New Yorker, I found the humidity in Amsterdam and parts of the UK FAR more intense! I also don't feel that 65 degrees in New York is shorts and t-shirts weather, but that's obviously different for each person.

If you are in Venice this week it may be a little warmer than last week, at least after Wednesday. I don't think t-shirts would have worked this week, and I'm not convinced they will work next week - especially if there is a wind and it either off the lagoon or down off the Alps.
