Venice Water taxi booking advice

Good morning, I am in the process of booking a reservation for a private water taxi from Marco Polo airport to our hotel. Our hotel is on the main Island and does have a dock in front , so no issues there. I'm using Consorzio Motoscafi and where I'm stumped is what to put down for the pick up time. Our flight arrives on Sunday at 9:20 am. I know there will be time going through security and border and then luggage.

What do you all think would be a reasonable time to put down in the request form?

Thanks

It was pretty quick through customs etc. I think I booked it for an hour after flight landed, and ended up sending them out flight info. No ussues as I think they’re used to flight changes and delays etc. I worried about this, too.

The Venice airport should be quiet Sunday morning, not sure you need a reservation. It is a bit of a walk to the water taxi area, and many folks just grab a waiting water taxi without a reservation.
Have a great trip, and enjoy Venice.

hey hey boswd
happy to see you taking the private water taxi, we've used them 4 times. fabulous way to get into venice, instead of a crowded vaporetto or alilaguna with my bags. many comments about cost, which is up to them. i just had a special "go go" account to save money for my trips.
there is another site to look up a shared water taxi. (venicelink.com under shuttle)
reserving the water taxi has you list your flight # and time, which the "boat pilots" can follow your arrival. no biggie. have fun and enjoy

@puple thanks we are very excited, yeah I understand it's a bit on the pricey sid, 150 Euros but time and being able to enjoy our trip in is so worth the experience and the money.

Thanks for asking this and for all the replies. I too was starting to price out my trip for 2026 and wondering what way my husband and I should get from airport to the hotel in Venice. This group is great !!!

I took a water taxi to our Venice hotel in April 21. I booked and paid online (others have posted the website). I am glad that I printed out the confirmation because when I got to the water taxi dock, the guy in charge took a long look at it before assigning us to a waiting water taxi. Note: right before you exit the airport (don't walk all the way outside), you want to turn to the left and go ALL the way to the left, then through a long covered walkway to get to the water taxi dock.
