Could anyone recommend a B&B or Hotel near St Marks water taxi stop for $200 -$225 per night?

Do you mean an actual water taxi stop---or a vaporetto stop?
Hotel Flora is a nice little hotel a bit west of the Valoressa Vaporetto stop, but not on the water. Double room booked now would be $220+tax ($30) so a bit over, but I would consider it myself if we didn't stay in apartments.
