Hello RS folks -
My wife and I are knee deep in planning for a March 2025 Italian adventure.
We are flying into Venice and out of Florence, trains and public transport is the plan of the day - no rental car. We are a physically fit and active couple, looking to soak in the Italian atmosphere, avoiding crowds and seeking more authentic experiences in Italy.
My wife will arrive in Venice a couple of days before I will, and has booked a glass blowing class on Murano. She is also interested in finding cooking class opportunities along the way if possible.
We would love feedback on our proposed itinerary
March 18-21 - Stay In Venice
March 22 - Train from Venice to Verona
March 22-23 - Stay In Verona
Train from Verona to Cinque Terre
March 24-25 - Stay In Vernazza
Train from Vernazza to Lucca, 1/2 day visit to walk around and see the town
train from Lucca to Florence
March 26-29 Stay In Florence
March 29 - Fly Home
