Travel Pass? I assume you mean some form of pass that includes vaporetto access? If so, then it goes up and down the canal just like a bus goes through a neighbourhood in a regular city. So no tour, just the views.

RS Venice guide books include a DIY Grand Canal Tour- all you need is a vaporetto pass.
Be sure to validate your vaporetto pass each and every time you board!
