Venice travel issues February 2 (Sunday)

If you are traveling to or from Venice next Sunday, you need to know that travel in and out by train or bus will be disrupting in the morning by operations to remove an unexplored WW2 bomb found in Marghera (on the mainland across from Venice). They are evacuating the area within 1800 meters of the site, which will close the railway tracks and roads. Air traffic will be diverted for a time. The operation starts at 6 am and is supposed to be over by 7:30 but it will take longer to restore normal traffic.

I read about this on TripAdvisor and I am posting a link to that discussion. There is a link to the local Italian news about this, which is the only news I can find. People with hotel reservations in Venice should be informed about it by their hotel.
