I will be staying at Ca’ Pozzo in the Cannaregio area of Venice. I will need to get to Tronchetto to catch my transfer…..I believe I will need to walk to Piazzale Roma and catch the monorail (people mover) to Tronchetto…..does this sound correct? Thanks!

You are correct, the people mover will work. You could also take a Vaporetto, although it would be quite a bit more expensive.

If you have a vaporetto pass still active, you could take the 4.1 boat to Piazzale Roma and walk from there to the people mover. The entrance is at the far end of the parking garage.
