Does anyone know if the 25 euro price for the Aliaguna Gold speedboat from Marco Polo airport to Venice is for each individual or for a group?
Ron,
Thanks. I think we will take the speedboat. It will be less expensive and faster.
Ron,
I meant the water taxi, not speedboat.
That is per person. Speedboat it is not, it is basically a large slow shuttle boat. The reason they call it the fast boat is that it does not stop at the outer islands only at San Zaccaria and San Marco.
It takes about 20 minutes less than the blue line but costs almost double
if you want you can take a private water taxi for about 100 euros. That is a fast speedboat and can usually hold up to eight people with luggage. The price is the same for one or eight.
Arriving into Venice via water taxi from the airport is an experience in itself! Have your cameras ready. When you enter Venice through the canals, be sure to stand up in the open back for some wonderful views and photo shots.
