We are going on the 10 day Best of Venice, Florence & Rome tour this year and I have 2 questions about the Venice days. The description says we will visit our guide's favorite island (not Murano). Can anyone tell me which island they are taking the tour to this spring? We are arriving a day early so I want to make certain we don't duplicate the tour sights. Also, on the same day, we have free time for dinner plans and then meet up for a gondola ride that night. What time should we make dinner reservations for be sure they fit between the island and the gondola? I'm asking because I heard most dining options open at 7 PM. Thanks for any clarification.

Probably best to call the RS office on this topic.
On our VFR tour many years ago, we went to Burano and Torcello, but things change over time.
