Venice to Verona

Is it possible to go to Venice and Verona in a weekend or long weekend and see the sights? Or do we need more time? Thanks

Where are you coming from?

It's possible but it will be a rushed trip-- more time would be ideal.

We are stationed in Sicily. I was looking for a weekend getaway with my husband for our anniversary.

You could fly into Venice & take a day trip to Verona.

It takes a little over an hour by high-speed train from Venice to Verona.

You could also visit Padua (Padova) from Venice it's only about 26 minutes by train.

Happy Anniversary!

If you are stationed at the Sigonella NATO base, you can fly from Catania non stop to Verona or Venice with Volotea.
To visit both Verona and Venice on a weekend it's a bit of a rush. Maybe if you have four nights there you can visit both. They are about one hour apart by train.
