Is the commute to Verona an easy one? Is it worth it?

There are direct trains to Verona from Venice. You can hop on a bus at the Verona train station to get to the city center. I'm sure a Rick guide book will tell you which bus.

Trains depart Venezia Santa Lucia about twice an hour heading west. For many, Verona is simply one of the stops on the run. CLICK HERE to see a typical morning train schedule. Note that the "R" trains are the locals and stop at every stop. The EScity is a high-speed. Note the difference in fares and travel times. Same tracks - different class of trains.
