does anyone recall the ultimate train destination that gets off in Padova, which train # or track?
Jan,
I'm not entirely clear on your question. There are many trains between Venice and Padova, both Regionale and express trains. The train number will depend on which departure you choose, and the track numbers tend to vary.
The Regionali at 12 past the hour are going to Verona, the ones at 42 past the hour are going to Bologna.
Jan,
There are several trains that travel from Venice (Venezia S. Lucia station) to Padova.
You can check train schedules on Trenitalia.com
Your ticket will show the train number.
You can find out the track number by checking the departure monitor at the train station. Sometimes not posted till 15-20 minutes prior to departure.
Hope this helps!
Jan:
There are many trains going to Padova and the final destination could be one of many.
Trains going from Venice to Milano, or Torino or Bologna or Firenze or Roma or Napoli, etc. all stop in Padova.
This is what you do.
In every station the official train time table is posted in paper in two paper boards like pictured here.
Arrivals are on white paper, departures in light yellow paper.
The detail looks like this.
Departure time, type of train and number of train, destinations and in bigger type, the final destination.
