Has anyone take a day trip from Venice to Osteria Ai Pioppi (the people powered amusement park)? We are planning to use trains throughout our whole trip, but this one seems like it calls for a rental car. The website mentions they have a parking lot but doesn't mention public transport. I was curious if anyone has made that day trip and if so, if you have any tips.

I’m confused. Always curious I looked up Osteria ai Pioppi and it’s a restaurant not an amusement park. Maybe there’s an amusement park attached and I missed it!
On a return-oh my. Looks like it is attached to the restaurant. Atlas Obscura no less. It definitely looks obscure for getting there. Hope someone gives a good answer because I would like to know also.
Edit: Best I could find is train to Susegana from Venezia Santa Lucia then a bus transferring to another bus that goes right by the restaurant-stop Via Alessi. Over two hours, but sure could be fun!
It is an amusement park, located north of Treviso. Looks like without a car you need to take a train to Treviso, then a bus to Nervesa.
Had seen the trip that CJean found, then couldn’t find it again. Far better!
