Venice to Florance night train

Is there a direct night train? Thanks

My first reaction is that the trip is too short for a night train. I mean you could travel at night but you would get min sleep and not worth the extra cost for a sleeping berth.

Yes there are two coming through Venice from other areas that go to Florence with no train changes. But I bet you won't like either as you won't get much sleep. It's only a 3.5hr. journey on the night train. Sorta like an AMTRAK train from Saranap (early name for portions of Walnut Creek) to Fresno. The first departs at 19:09 and arrives at 22.47. The second is a bit faster but it departs at 03:11 and arrives at 06:18. The Eurostar day train takes 2hrs-40min.
