Venice to Dolomites by car

Hi,

I am planning on hiring a car at the Venice airport and driving north. It will be later in the day, so I just want to see if the Google drive times are realistic.

The plan is to head to Falcade where there is a campground and spend a few days wandering around the mountains.

What is a realistic time to get there from the airport? Google tells me between 2 hours (Autostrada) and 2.5 hours (SR348). Does this seem reasonable? I'm of course, assuming we will take longer and make a few stops, but I would like to get a sense of my actual driving time.

I'm keen to avoid the Autostrada if possible.

Do not use google maps, but www.viamichelin.com, rounding up to the next half-hour or hour. Note that you can select options, like type of route or no motorway.

Thank you for the map link. That looks really helpful. I've already read alot about the ZTLs.
