My husband and I are wanting to travel from Venice to Croatia by ferry in October. We will not have a car with us. Any ideas on ferry lines that operate? I am only seeing one operator Adriatic Lines. We would really like to travel from Venice to Rovinj (or close by) on Monday, October 12. Thank you so much for your suggestions!

The ferries between the Istrian peninsula and Venice are designed solely for tourists and are timed so that holidaymakers in Pula, Rovinj or Poreč can take a day trip to Venice. The value for money isn’t good.
By mid-October, the tourist season is already over; the last boat leaves Venice on 13 October. If that doesn’t suit you, one option left is Flixbus.
