Visiting Italy in October...making plans for Verona and then
on to Bolzano...any suggestions on where to stay in each of those places?

We will be taking our first trip to Italy in September. I found a cute place, online, in St. Christina. It is in the Dolomites not far from Bolzano. It is called La Villa Martha and it is a family run business. The web site had cute pictures. The staff has been very nice and accomodating. We are looking forward to it.

If you're open to going a bit north of Bolzano, we loved our stay in Castelrotto at Haus Silbernagl. Wraparound balcony, fabulous views of the Dolomites, good breakfast and very reasonable. It was a 50 minute bus ride from Bolzano.
