My husband and I will be in Venice the beginning of May 2026.
We have booked our room accommodations, but want to be prepared for our sightseeing. For those who have gone before me, are there any tickets/reservations I should be making in advance?
Please and thank you.
St Mark's. Doge's Palace. Any concerts. Restaurant dinners. Possibly the Peggy Guggenheim. Also the Campanile in St Mark's Square. You wont need an advance booking if doing the campanile at S. Giorgio Maggiore
Last time I was in Venice ('23), I didn't book tickets for San Marco or the Doge's Palace. I just got in line in the morning, about 30 to 40 minutes before opening time, and got in about 15 minutes after. Not a lot of people at that time, but it was also early May. YMMV.
