We have been trying to get tickets and a timed entry for St. Mark's Basilica and museum in Venice for September. We used the official website recommended in Rick's Italy book. We had to register for this website, which we did, but we keep getting a message that says "Unable to proceed due to technical requirements." Has anyone had similar problems and found a workaround for this predicament? Thanks so much!

Ray - how far did you get with purchase before that message came up?

I was able to put a ticket reservation for a September date/time in my cart, but I did not purchase.
I didn't have to register for this site. There are a variety of tickets - but I see you want the basilica and museum.

I was able to sign in with date and time we wanted. Then, at check-out I received the same error message again. I tried it both on my desk computer and on my iPhone. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help!

As long as you are on the official site it should work but many of the Italian websites only work during Italy business hours so maybe wait and try later/ tomorrow
