Does anyone have a suggestion, two couples had our gondola cancel last minute. What would you suggest for a private half hour booking. Thank you everyone. Leaving tomorrow.

You can just go to one of the many gondola stops and arrange it there

while you're there, walking around during the day, stop at the nearest gondola station and ask the person running the place to arrange a gondola for later that day, and to arrange for the musician and singer. I think that requires that you actually reserve and pay for two gondolas, one for the music. Yes its touristy as heck, but its worth doing, and doing when its getting dark and all the lights are on, on the Grand Canal (and less commercial traffic).
Your hotel can point you to the nearest gondola point, or possibly arrange the whole thing for you.
