Venice Secret Itineraries tickets - purchasing online

I am trying to purchase Secret Itineraries tickets through the online site (http://museiciviciveneziani.it). According to RS 2010, the price is $10E with a San Marco Museum Plus pass. I have ordered the San Marco pass and the SI ticket, however, I am not receiving the discounted price for the SI ticket. I would like to save the $16E. Anyone know the trick for doing this? (FYI, the hotel will not get them for us.)

For the SI ticket, you should be given the option of full price or discounted price. You should choose the discounted price. BTW you do not need to have the pass when you purchase the SI ticket, just when you pick it up at the Doge's Palace.

The full price of the SI ticket is 18 euro, with the pass it is 12 euro.

You might also try the Venice Connected site. Sometimes their prices are lower, especially for the vaporetto passes.

Thanks for the advice. When I finally figured it out (the reduced price), the system wouldn't take my payment. I'll keep trying!

The San Marco Museum Plus pass is E5 less on the Venice Connected site than on the Viva ticket site. That is a big difference! They don't seem to sell the Secret Itineraries ticket though. Did you purchase your vaporetto ticket on Venice Connected? Any problems redeeming/using it?

Where did you purchase the San Marco Museum Plus pass? I am looking to do the same. I have checked out the Venice Connected website, but none of the passes seem to be the right one? Also - is it necessary to purchase the Alilaguna tickets ahead of time?

Rachel, the San Marco Plus Pass on Venice Connected appears to be called: Museum of St. Mark's Square Plus. I can't answer your other question.

Rachel, I booked the SI tour with the discounted price online. In the end, I bought the San Marco Museums pass when I got to the Doge's Palace. The discounted price also applies if you buy the other Venice museum pass (don't remember the name, but includes several other museums) and also if you buy the clock tower tour.
