Venice Resturant

Any opinions based on recent experience at Trattoria da Giorgio ai Greci on a canal near San Zacaria? Many thanks. TC

RU asking because it's a Rick recommend and reviews on Tripadvisor are mixed? Adore and use practical info the RS guides but rarely eat where he has recommended. Preference is to wander and discover something good, bad or indifferent on my own. Discovered this stellar Venice spot Tratoria da' a Marisa. Tiny, no English, crowded with locals, cash only, divine food. Not on a trodden tourist path. One of my most memorable dining experiences ever. I also enjoyed a nice meal at Trattoria Ai Corazzieri. Castello 3839.

Ate there several years ago and it was really good. But things do change and was looking for an update based on recent experience. TC

Ate there last October. It was very good. Friendly wait staff. Had an antipasto, pasta, fish, and wine. All good. If memory serves me right it was around 110 euros for two.
