Venice Restaurants - Giudecca

the top of the Hilton Molino Stucky has the best view of Venice from across the Grand Canal. They have a website and the bar on top is just spectacular. Food is available. We didn't stay there but used their rooftop bar to watch sundown and the cruise ships pass by all lit up.

There is a great app called Eat Venice that will lead you to some wonderful restaurants. Its developer is Elizabeth Minchilli, a Roman foodie, and the restaurants are some of her favorites, in all price ranges. (I've also had good experiences with her Eat Rome.)

Alla Palanca is very good and cheap (by Venetian standards) and right on the canal. It is only open at lunchtimes for meals.
I Figli delle stelle is more expensive and more elegant cooking Puglian food. Both have fantastic views across the canal. Both are on Giudecca itself. I prefer alla Palanca but it might depend on what you are looking for, I Figli delle stelle might be seen as a more romantic option.
