Has anyone been to either Ristorante da Raffaele or Taverna San Trovaso in Venice? I'm interested in feedback, please.
We just got back from Venice in late September. We looked at Taverna San Trovaso but ended up eating at the Ristorante San Trovaso around the corner from it behind the Accademia. It was next door to our apartment and seemed to be owned by the same folks as the menu seemed about the same. They had an outside dining area that we liked since the weather was pleasant. The food was good enough for us to eat there twice.
We ate at Trattoria Pizzeria Non Risorto and Trattoria Da Giorgio ai Greci on the canal. Rick Steve's recommendations for restaurants in his book are well worth reading. Enjoy Venice!
