Hello, I have heard that the food in Venice is not great. Any suggestions for dinner? Would love not to spend a fortune but if its REALLY good, we would splurge.

(Do you want to eat well and spend little? Then don't go to Venice) The next best thing is to look for a Bacaro, a budget trattoria serving cicheti (appetizers). Great link, Roberto!!! Now I have another little project in Cannaregio. Yay!! I see that they start off at al Timon, one of my faves. I've only been to Venice twice this year and now see I must return in September!! Thanks for spending more of my money...
