Does anybody have any recommendations for a restaurant for dinner for a group of 6 in June? We plan to make reservations. I’m looking for someplace with variety (pizza, pasta, seafood), great Venetian atmosphere, doesn’t need to be fancy, maybe outside seating. Great desserts would be a plus.

You might look at veciopozzo.it to see if it fits. Ostaria al Vecio Pozzo. We ate there our last night in Venice. No views, but definitely outside seating and not tons of tourists although there will be some. The Corte is very wide so any foot traffic is not right next to you. Good service, good food, lots of variety and very reasonably priced. I’m sure we didn’t have dessert as usually we were too full from dinner and wine to do so. And yes, reservations are needed.
And close by our favorite pasticceria, La Trevisan.
