Any updates to RS pub crawl? Some of the places recommended don't have great reviews on trip advisor so wondering if anyone has any suggestions as far as new wine bars etc? Thank you!

It sounds like you might want to organize this pub crawl on your own, but if that does not work out for you, I highly recommend talking to Alessandro Schezzini! He leads a great pub crawl. It was one of the highlights of our trip last summer. He has a wonderful sense of Venice's history and its present. He was a wonderful "host" on a special night for us! I wouldn't rely on Trip Advisor for recommendations for cichetti bars. Many are, by nature, dark and divey. And "new" is sort of the antithesis of what you should be looking for.

Alex - I'd second Sharon's recomendation for Allesandro. I did both the Pub Crawl with him, and his Back Lanes tour in September. Like Sharon, our time with Allesandro was one of my favorites from our trip. The wine was flowing at the bars. If you can I would say take both tours with him. The back lanes one we meet at 16:00 (4pm) and then the Pub Crawl was right after that.
